In an effort to keep my mind from turning to mush....
Like it or not, I'm now a "work-at-home" Mom. (Is there any other kind??) I was asked to contribute to another deal blog here in Dallas, so I'm keeping extra busy and I'm on the computer for several hours a day. These jobs have been a blessing to our family, they allow me to stay-at-home and also earn a steady paycheck with the addition of the bigger blog.
While I'm on the computer, I try to keep my mind occupied with more than just deals and dollars and cents. I like to keep a program running while I'm working.
Of course I love that all of General Conference is online and I can listen to it over and over. (I know I need it!)
I'm not able to completely listen intently, but I do pick up on tidbits here and there and I know this helps me.
Another website I love to listen to is the Mormon Channel, the radio programs are all online. You can listen live or program by program.
The "Conversations" series is awesome! Sheri Dew interviews the apostles and their wives. Wow! It's great to listen to them for more than a few minutes at a time and to see a little bit more of their personalities.
Elder and Sister Cook were the most recent couple to be interviewed. They are so happy and sweet!
Here are some more favorites:
Stephanie and Christian Nielsen WOW! She reminds us to be grateful that we have skin. Amazing! I sure take a lot of things for granted.
Heidi Swinton- author of President Monson's biography. She's such a happy lady! She also served in the same mission as I did.
I'm going to start on the Everything Creative series soon (Great interview with The 5 Browns) and I also discovered the Enduring It Well series. (These make me feel like my trials are not so big after all.)
I almost forgot: The Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration is now online and we also like the programs on BYUtv! You can watch the live programs or pick your favorites one-by-one.
Our Church has so many positive, uplifting media choices to enjoy- I don't have time to listen to them all! (Even with all the time I spend on the computer!)

I had some time to scrapbook, (on my computer), this afternoon and listened to Conference while I did that. We're so lucky to have it so easily accessible and I know when I listen to it over and over again, I remember so much more. Thanks for the other links!
