A day in the life....

Of me! I keep waiting for a big, exciting event to happen in my life to post about. Instead, I thought I'd show my amazing accomplishments of April 3rd, 2009. Ha ha.
First task: Prepare to share!
My kids have been called upon to share "their" room with some cousins this weekend. I made their room look like this:

I probably should have done a before/after shot, maybe it will be a now/ later shot... when I let the kids in again! Yay! No legos, hairclips, papers, and elastics stuck in every nook and cranny. I love you kids, this is how a clean room is supposed to look! :)
Second task: Take a brownie break. Hey, I've got to keep up my strength! A very nice friend shared this recipe with me, and now we're hooked!

Third task: This!!!!
And this!!! Okay, this pile took me both Wednesday and Friday to complete. Yes, my back and arm are sore! I heard that Al is in town, I wonder if I can ask him when that global warming thing is supposed to kick in? Soon, I hope!! :)

Heather-you are so amazing! You are such a good example to me and such a good little mommy. Can we come see you sometime?

I have a love-hate relationship with shoveling snow. I like that it gives me a good work out, but I hate that it seems never-ending in the winter time! But I guess that is just like every other job we do...laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc. I guess you won't have to worry about getting "relief society arms!" :)

I'm so happy to see a pic of my recipe on your blog. And I'm glad that they're giving you the "nourishment" you need! Let me know how long the kids room stays clean.

After looking at the snowy pictures I will stop complaining about the cold and snow. Whenever it has snowed here in the last couple of weeks it always melts by the end of the day. That is so crazy. I've been wearing sandels everyday just hoping that it will be actually warm enough to wear them, so far I've had cold toes:)
