2 years ago today

I didn't want this day to end without remembering. Two years ago today, our little Matthew was born just in time to say goodbye. Our lives are forever changed. We understand better the plan our Father in Heaven has for us because of this special baby of ours. Thank you, Matthew! Our hope now is to live worthy so that we may be a family forever with you as our son!

I remember. I remember how his life touched many of our lives. We, as your friends, struggled with you, prayed for you, and tried to think of anything we could do to help you get through such a difficult time. Congrats on your angel, your perfect son. Hopefully someday I will be privileged to meet him, with your permission.

Thank you for being such a strong example of faith in times of trial. I know that is sometimes the only way to get through the hard things. It really does help knowing that there is an eternal plan in place for all of us.

Wow Heather. What a sweet and tearful post. That was such a hard time, I remember it like it was yesterday. Thank you for your example of faith, love, strength, pulling together as a family through trials, and trust in the Lord. You are definately on my top 10 heros list! Love you!!!

You are such a great example Heather, I can't even imagine how hard that must have been. I know it has been such a hard trial to go through for you and John. He is lucky to have you as his mother. We love you!

I am a bit behind on my blog reading...sorry I missed this one. I do want to say that I too am grateful for your example of faith and striving to do what's right. I noticed such a huge leap in the spirituality of you and your family after Matthew passed away. (not that you weren't great before:-) But it seems like Matthews small moment on earth was to inspire you and your family to live worthy enough to return and live with him again. In turn you have inspired so many with your faith and example. What a great calling for such a small baby to have. He has done his job and we are all grateful for him.

I'm glad you posted about Matthew. I thought about you that day, but unfortunately I didn't even give you a call. You truly are an example to us all on how to live right and have faith in the Lord. Thanks for being a great friend to me. Love you! And I echo everything that Marianne said.
